Mark Pitman

Secretary; Member of the Board

My wife Cheryl and I became year-round residents of Minocqua in 2006, after spending the past 25 plus years living in Wausau. We have two children, Andrea age 26 and John age 23. Andrea is a Massage Therapist living in Lahaina, Maui HI, and John has graduated from UW Madison and is looking into attending grad school this fall. Cheryl owns an interior decorating business called “It Can Be Arranged”, and keeps busy between Wausau and the Lakeland area, working in people’s homes and businesses.

After working 30 years with Wausau Financial Systems, I have retired as of 12/31/11! Between 1981 and 2005, I held a variety of positions focused on Sales and Marketing of Transaction Processing systems for Financial Institutions around the US and the World. I ultimately held the role of EVP Sales for 19 years and became one of three owners of the company.

We sold WFS in 2005, and I stayed on with the new owners, where I was responsible for managing our Partner Channel, made up of various companies who re-sold WFS software solutions under their own private labels.

During my tenure with WFS, I was on the Board of Directors for nearly 20 years. I also served on the Board of TAWPI, which was a non-profit service organization focused on work process improvement for Financial Institutions, healthcare providers and other organizations processing high volumes of financial transactions and payments. I served for 6 years and also held the positions of Secretary and Treasurer.
