Join us Monday, June 3rd and Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, for our Annual Lakeland STAR Golf Outing! The golf event this year includes access to the "pre-event" including food and entertainment at Northfork and Fin on Monday June 3rd, as well as a full-day of golf and evening event at at the exclusive Minocqua Country Club.

All monies raised will directly benefit the students of Lakeland STAR School (Grades 7-8), Lakeland STAR Academy (Grades 9-12), and Rising STAR Transition Center (Ages 18-21). Since its inception, the mission of Lakeland STAR has been to cultivate self-reliance and determination in all students, so that they can discover their unique potential and maximize their capabilities. What makes STAR unique is that each student is not only provided an Individualized Education Plan, but they also receive additional counseling, therapies (i.e. Speech and Language, Occupational, and Equine), specialized sensory rooms and equipment, support in mastering Activities of Daily Living, a Driver’s Education Simulator and Training Program, small class sizes, one-on-one instruction, and so much more. Your support also completed the Rising STAR Transition Center for 18-21 year olds to teach practical life skills that will allow students to one day become independent: living in an apartment, paying bills, learning to drive, applying for a job and thriving in a work environment.

The need is growing, and with your support at this important golf event through your sponsorship, participation, or generous gifts, Lakeland STAR School/Academy and Rising STAR have proven to positively transform the life of each student who receives their special counseling, therapy and teaching approach. Families benefit, and our community benefits as these young adults realize their potential. Thank you in advance for your continued support.

2026 Let's Tee Off Against Breast Cancer

Join us at Trout Lake Golf Club for a special women-only 18 hole “FUN”draiser golf scramble sponsored by the Trout Lake Ladies Golf League to help us provide support to great cancer patients across the Northwoods. 100% of the funds raised will be used to provide financial, emotional and education support services to breast cancer patients in the Northwoods including “We Care” totes to first time breast cancer patients.
