COVID-19 HELPING OUR HOSPITALS & HEROES: Lifesaving Patient Monitors and Words of Encouragement
Patient Monitors Give Patients the Best and Help Providers Prepare for the Worst
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Howard Young Medical Center has requested an update to their Emergency Department Patient Monitor System. They currently have a lack of critical equipment necessary to function at optimum capacity and ability if they have a surge of patients. Currently, 9 of the 17 Emergency Department rooms have no dedicated equipment.
The Phillips InteilliVue X3 would improve patient monitoring by allowing for customization of patient information to ensure that each patient is being closely monitored for the appropriate vitals. All monitors will be portable ensuring a seamless transition to other departments in the hospital. This would be the first upgrade in ten years.
